Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our student's learning and well-being. The role involves assisting in classroom activities, promoting positive behaviour, and providing individualised support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Support students during school activities and outings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school environment, preferably with secondary-aged students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting students with ASC and SEMH needs.
