Primary purpose of the Role: The Global Mobility (GM) Tax Analyst / Sr. GM Specialist provides operational support to the Global Mobility department, enabling the team to deliver solutions to internal stakeholders related to all individual and employment tax compliance matters, proposal support, and day-to-day GM tasks associated with managing the assignment lifecycle. The GM role will directly support the GM Director, GM Tax Manager, and other GM team members.
Duties:
- Operational: Assist with the day-to-day management of the Tax Equalization Program within the EMEA region, including liaising directly with the tax-equalized population, internal project teams, third-party vendors, etc.
- Facilitate the global tax payment process, including home and host country tax payments, tax equalization settlements, etc.
- Collect and reconcile quarterly imputed income data from internal stakeholders for inclusion in the home country payroll.
- Manage and track applications for Totalization Agreements.
- Track host country tax refunds and tax equalization settlements due back to the company.
- Assist with annual authorization review and compensation reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance of global mobility practices with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards, and policies; work cross-functionally with Legal, Payroll, and Corporate Tax.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create international assignment agreements, considering all applicable statutory labor laws.
- Support pricing and contract capture efforts by providing cost projections and compliance framework solutions.
- Maintain interactions with suppliers/vendors to ensure a smooth experience for employees/assignees.
- Review and assist with processing vendor invoices.
