QC Chemist – 18 month FTC
Working exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company, I am currently supporting a maternity cover within their QC team for one of the UK facilities based in the West Midlands.
This position is a hands on QC chemist that will be fully trained in a sterile manufacturing setting and with the products being tested. However, the ability to work in a GMP (or similar process driven) setting will be critical in order to hit the ground running. You will be working in a small, dynamic team and will need to flexible and a quick learner, with a real can-do attitude.
This team is shift based and includes night shifts– naturally a flexible mindset is needed for this type of position.

Key experience:
- Educated to degree (or equivalent level) in a Life Sciences subject
- Previous quality control (QC) chemistry experience
- Experience and/or understanding of chromatography techniques including HPLC and GC.
- Experience GMP/GLP principles
