This position is with highly entrepreneurial firm who have disrupted the Private Wealth Asset manager space by utilising technology and data in innovative ways. In the last couple of years this firm have grown their client and asset base and are looking to continue to grow their team as a result. Recent hires include talent from top tier Institutional, as well as Private Client, firms. As with any role with a smaller, growing firm, this position will be broad in scope and there will be significant chances to take on responsibilities. Some key aspects of this role will include:

  • Be an Adviser to Ultra High Net Worth Clients
  • Advise on all aspects of the Client’s Financial Life and implications for wrappers and interaction with investment management
  • Contribute to firm’s approach to lifestyle financial planning
  • Be part of broader firm building initiatives

Whilst our client is prioritising the person over the CV, the ideal skill set would look like the following:

  • Extensive experience delivering financial advice to ultra-high-net-worth clients. Ideally, the right candidate will have over 5 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 1 year delivering advice.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with UHNW clients.
  • Proven experience providing financial advice to sophisticated UHNW clients. Ideally, this will include providing investment advice across public and private markets.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of financial planning including trusts, pensions and intergenerational planning

  • Excellent communication skills essential
  • Advanced Diploma (or be within one exam of it) or Chartered/Certified Financial Planner (Level 6/7)
  • Detailed technical understanding of cash flow based planning
  • Inquisitive character with demonstrated desire to continue to learn and improve in relevant fields
  • Strongly motivated, sets demanding standards of personal excellence
  • Enjoys diving deep into the technology development process and seeks to streamline workflows
  • Independent thinker
  • Non-hierarchical and ego-free
