Fram are working with a Chartered Financial Planning firm with offices across the UK. Our client is looking for a Financial Planner with a couple of yearsβ experience as part of a succession plan to take over a client bank covering Wiltshire and London. The role is employed, you will work with the current advisor and slowly meet and develop relationships with their client book, to eventually take at least half of that book over. This firm has an excellent reputation, clients are HNW with an average client size of Β£1m plus. The firm has in-house paraplanning and administration support. This is a great opportunity for someone who has been advising for a few years but wants to move to a role with a higher level of client wealth. As a Chartered firm, they would like the advisor to be open to working toward Chartered.
The role is to provide clients with specialist advice on how to manage their money. It will involve researching the marketplace and recommending the most appropriate products and services available, ensuring that clients are aware of products that best meet their needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises
- Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims
- Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
- Completing risk analyses
- Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
- Designing financial strategies
- Assisting clients to make informed decisions
- Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
- Reviewing and responding to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances
- Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
A successful candidate will be an experienced Financial Planner happy to work towards Chartered status. They should have experience of growing and managing a diverse client bank and be based along the M4 corridor as clients are based between Wiltshire and London.
