Join a dynamic and fast-evolving Digital, Media, and Commerce (DMC) team that brings together Digital Marketing, Media, Retail Media, eCommerce, and Shopper Marketing to create world-class consumer experiences for Home Care brands. This team acts as an integrated growth engine, driving brand visibility and performance across every stage of the consumer journey.

As Media Manager for Home Care UKI, you will be responsible for leading a comprehensive media strategy across traditional, digital, and retail media. You will work across a diverse brand portfolio, owning strategy, execution, and optimisation of campaigns — all while leveraging data to drive performance and innovation. This high-impact role partners closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective planning, flawless execution, and measurable results. You will also lead a direct report to support implementation and manage substantial budgets to deliver maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Strategy & Leadership: Lead the end-to-end media strategy across traditional, digital, and retail channels for all Home Care brands. Champion a consumer-first, social-forward approach, continuously refining the media roadmap to stay ahead of industry shifts. Drive adoption of advanced data partnerships and audience-led planning.
  • Retail Media Strategy: Design and deliver strategic retail media plans for omnichannel and pureplay retailers. Align with customer marketing and sales teams to integrate media into the broader retail ecosystem.
  • Performance & Insights: Analyse campaign performance using internal data and third-party measurement tools (e.g., BLS, SLS, MMM). Collaborate with insights teams to turn performance data into actionable improvements. Lead learning agendas and ROI evaluation for continuous optimisation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal marketing, DMC, sales, and brand teams for media alignment and shared goals. Manage relationships with media agencies, retail media partners, and external media platforms. Act as a key media expert, regularly presenting results, trends, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Testing: Stay on the pulse of emerging media trends and technologies; pilot new formats and platforms. Lead media strategy for key retail events such as Prime Day and Black Friday.
  • Budget Management: Oversee full media budget allocation in collaboration with brand and agency teams. Own retail media budget planning and spend across Always-On, Event, and Innovation campaigns. Deliver transparent ROI and performance reporting to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential: Proven experience developing holistic media strategies across traditional, digital, and retail channels. Strong background in media campaign planning, execution, and performance optimisation. Excellent budget management capabilities with a results-oriented mindset. Solid understanding of retail media platforms and customer marketing integration. Strong analytical skills; confident using performance data to shape strategy. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across all levels. Proficiency in Amazon media tools (e.g., Pacvue, AMC) or equivalent platforms. Experience working with or managing media and retail agency partners.
  • Preferred: Background in FMCG, consumer goods, or retail media environments. Ability to develop compelling, insight-led creative briefs. Highly adaptable, proactive mindset with strong business and commercial acumen. Comfortable working across multiple brands, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

They should be confident in aligning media plans with brand and commercial goals, while adapting strategies to evolving consumer behaviours and media trends.
  • Hands-On Experience with Retail Media Platforms and eCommerce Integration: A strong background in planning and executing retail media campaigns with omnichannel and pureplay retailers (e.g., Amazon, Tesco, Boots) is essential. The candidate should be comfortable managing budgets across platforms, optimising performance, and collaborating with sales and customer teams to align media with retail activations.
  • Strong Analytical and Performance Optimisation Skills: The role demands a data-savvy marketer who can analyse media performance (using tools like Pacvue, AMC, BLS, MMM) and translate insights into actionable improvements. Experience managing ROI, developing learning agendas, and using analytics to drive continuous optimisation is critical.
