We’re looking for a Senior Advisory Consultant to join our growing Advisory Practice in the UK and Ireland. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced consultants, helping to deliver cybersecurity strategies and solutions to our clients particularly those in the UK Defence sector. We’re looking for someone with experience working directly with the Ministry of Defence or through a Defence Prime Contractor (e.g., BAE Systems, Leonardo, Atkins). There may also be opportunities to support clients outside of Defence, depending on demand. To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be eligible for Security Clearance at SC level and based in the UK (London). No VISAs supplied.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Contributing to Practice Growth
- Supporting the delivery of client projects across the UK Defence sector
- Working alongside experienced colleagues to deliver practical cybersecurity solutions
- Helping maintain strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for further work or added value
- Contributing to security assessments and helping shape strategic security plans
- Assisting with architecture reviews and design work
- Supporting clients with compliance and regulatory requirements
- Helping to build transformation roadmaps and contribute to cloud security projects
- Getting involved in research and innovation across cybersecurity
- Supporting clients to improve their overall security posture
- Assisting in security capability assessments and contributing to high-quality deliverables
- Preparing materials for workshops and client meetings
- Conducting research and analysis to support decision-making
- Leading or contributing to workshops on topics like security strategy, cloud architecture, risk assessments, and technology choices
- Producing a range of client deliverables, including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, and project updates
- Carrying out security reviews by analysing documentation, reviewing technical configurations, and documenting recommendations
- Researching emerging technologies, industry regulations, and vendor capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity within the Defence sector, with proven expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- MoD Security Governance and Assurance: Secure by Design, RMADs, risk assessments
- Cloud Security: Architecture documentation, mapping controls, compliance automation
- Cyber Operations in MoD: SOC tool evaluation, SIEM use cases, reporting metrics, tech integration
- Cyber Vulnerability Investigations
- Identity & Access Management: IAM reviews, privileged access, authentication technology, Zero Trust
- Operational Technology (OT) Security: OT risk assessments, vulnerability management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Well-organised and proactive, with a clear focus on service delivery
- A good team player, enthusiastic about learning and growing professionally
