We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Clinical Service to oversee and manage our clinical programs and services for adult males with a range of mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing, specifically RGN (Registered General Nurse - Adult), RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse), or RNLD (Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse), and a strong understanding of the unique needs of this population.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide leadership to the clinical team, ensuring high-quality care and support services for adult males with mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of care and support provided.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health disorders, and incorporate new research and evidence-based practices into clinical programs.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership or management role, ideally within the mental health disorders field.
  • Strong understanding of person-centered care and support principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, individuals, and their families.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of clinical service delivery.

Day-to-day

As the Director of Clinical Service, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, supervising clinical staff, and developing and maintaining clinical programs. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and holistic care for adult males with mental health disorders, while staying updated on best practices and industry developments to continually improve service delivery.
