How you’ll make an impact: You will play a vital role in growing our European marketplace revenues by assuming the following responsibilities.
What you’ll do:
- Own the day-to-day business relationships with a selection of MRG and other priority UK publishers. Tasks include:
- Become an expert on the publishers and their value propositions to pitch to resellers and programmatic buyers, growing spend across your partner portfolio.
- Become an expert in all related contracts and agreements, with a particular emphasis on any minimum deliverables/guarantees for each party.
- Create and manage media packs and other collateral for use by AdsWizz’s in-house programmatic team and sales partners demonstrating areas of revenue opportunity.
- Lead on behalf of AdsWizz in scheduled meetings and QBRs, from gathering and analysing performance insights to creating and presenting materials.
- Manage any scheduled internal and external delivery reports.
- Play an active role in the negotiation and execution of contract renewals.
- If applicable, assess opportunities for non-audio formats to present business case and recommendations to wider team, owning the commercial negotiations and implementation of any which are approved.
- Handle any ad-hoc issues.
- Liaise closely with global Supply team to develop an expert knowledge of all AdsWizz Marketplace publishers.
- Identify and evaluate new inventory opportunities and lead on execution/acquisition.
- Vetting new publishers joining the marketplace, ensuring that they meet all criteria and standards.
- Monitor IVT reports to identify potential ad fraud, taking action to remove publishers if necessary.
- Using available platform tools and without sacrificing overall revenues, make best efforts to ensure that priority publishers are allocated as large a share of impressions as possible.
- Identify incremental revenue opportunities from curating inventory into custom supply packs or separate marketplaces.
- Maintain knowledge base for all publishers and ensure they are accurately represented in the UI.
- Manage a selection of VIP sales partners.
- Upsell new products and solutions designed to increase monetization.
- Negotiation of renewal terms and execution of contracts.
- Lead on behalf of AdsWizz in monthly meetings and QBRs.
- Track performance against agreed commercial deliverables.
- Collaborate with product, technical support, marketing/PR, billing/accounting and legal teams to provide best-in-class service.
- Identify new sales partners, negotiate terms and execute new agreements.
- Be an expert in audience data and how it can be used to increase revenue and yield across our streaming and podcast marketplace. Be familiar with all GDPR related issues and be able to address questions.
What you’ll need:
- You will have at least five years experience in partner, publisher or inventory management, preferably from an SSP.
- You are a strong presenter with excellent negotiation skills.
- You have a strong understanding of digital advertising and programmatic (must).
- You have general knowledge of VAST, OpenRTB, and verification/measurement vendors.
- You have an understanding of SDKs and ad formats (i.e. audio; video).
- You have experience with platforms involved in the direct sales and programmatic ecosystem (i.e. SSPs, DSPs; ad servers).
- You have a professional and positive demeanour when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have outstanding communication, presentation, and computer skills, including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), Power Point (MS PP) and CRM systems.
- You must have legal right to work in the UK.
