Python Engineer - World Renowned Technology House - Business Critical Greenfield Project - Up to £200,000

We are partnering up with a historically strong technology house that is looking for Senior Python Developers to work on a business-critical platform.

Role

They are looking for a Senior Python Developer to come in and help in the build-out of brand-new platform which will effectively futureproof the business for success . The crux of the work revolves around all aspects of development, from architecture to building microservice-based solutions. You would be developing software around pricing structured products providing real exposure to trading activities and therefore we are seeking someone with exposure to the Front Office or a desire to work in the finance industry. This role carries a huge amount of technical autonomy with the opportunity to work alongside the CTO in a collaborative, agile environment.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Object Oriented Python
• A desire to go into finance/ exposure to Front Office trading
• Proficiency and passion for using collaborative software engineering techniques (agile, TDD, BDD, continuous integration)
• 5 years+ experience.
• Commercial Experience working with Java.
• Computer Science or STEM degree.
• Good communication skills
