We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the vibrant Borough of Harrow. We are seeking a highly motivated individual looking to share their gardening talents with service users at our Extra Care Service.

We require someone who has the ability to safely guide and assist our clients with gardening activities. You will be developing activities in a collaborative manner ensuring that they meet clients’ goals, improve their wellbeing and enhance social inclusion. You will have good knowledge about the world of gardening, which you will be able to impart to our clients in a supportive manner.

This is a fulfilling and fun-filled role, with a large scope for creativity and personal initiative. You must be a proactive and creative person with a warm and patient disposition. A genuine interest in working with older adults at risk is essential as is a commitment to diversity.

You will be based in our service in Harrow, which is easily accessible via tube and bus services. Working hours will be generally within the hours of 9am to 5pm; however, there will be an expectation to work on occasional evenings and weekends, so some flexibility will be required.
