THE SEARCH: Altus Partners are working exclusively with a global, rapidly growing, private equity backed consultancy business, headquartered in Central London. Backed by a leading Private Equity fund, our client are looking to implement a strategic M&A strategy as they increase their global coverage. They are seeking a Head of Corporate Development & M&A, to act as a key member of an already impressive senior leadership, and help define the long term strategic plan of the business. This is a hands-on role, that requires the end-to-end execution of M&A deals, suited to individuals with extensive transaction experience on a 6 month project basis. Opportunity for equity. THE ROLE: Execute the group’s M&A strategy Review, analyse and assess acquisition opportunities, including producing and reviewing financial models and acquisition rationale Ensure pre-acquisition integration (and separation) planning is thorough and effective Drive the overall M&A deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities, JV’s etc. Establish and maintain key relationships with existing and potential investors Work closely with CEO on key commercial projects and PE activity THE REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of relevant work experience in M&A – Ideally within a people focussed business Experience working with private equity desired Experience working in a leading investment bank or top-tier consultancy preferred Flexible in a continuously changing, growing environment Strong influencing and negotiation skills
