Quality Control Assistant in Alfreton

An award-winning family business based in Alfreton, are looking for a Quality Control Assistant to join their team. You will play an essential role in ensuring products meet and exceed the high expectations of their customers.

Duties:

• Conducting QC due diligence checks and inspections to ensure product compliance
• Identifying quality issues and providing resolutions
• Compiling departmental reports
• Liaising with factories to discuss and resolve any quality issues that have arisen
• Collaborating with the warehouse team to receive and return stock for QC checks and testing
• Coordinating testing at 3rd party test houses
• Maintaining the returns log in a timely manner and helping create and maintain returns reports
• Ensuring products meet all regulation and sustainable requirements
• Help maintain accurate paperwork, logs, sample records and stock records
• Assist with the running of the Quality Department when the Quality and Compliance Manager is absent

The Quality Control Assistant will have a Relevant qualification or equivalent work experience in Quality Assurance. You will also have a keen eye for detail and a methodical work approach with the ability to use initiative and think of solutions for quality problems.

In return you will be offered a salary of £30,000, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 – 16:30 or 9:00 – 17:30 with some flexibility offered. This is full time in the office.

You will have 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holiday. Free parking is available onsite.
