IQUW Group has a hybrid working model that offers flexibility while maintaining opportunities for collaboration and connection with colleagues in person. Our hybrid working model will consist of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely. Teams can coordinate specific in-office days to support collaboration and flexibility.
The role
- To support the Enterprise Services functions (HR, Risk, IT, Property, Procurement etc) in the delivery of IT initiatives required to achieve IQUW strategic objectives.
- Work with the functional leadership to build annual identify, plan and co-ordinate the planning and deployment of resources across the business to successfully achieve the delivery of approved projects.
- Assure the quality of all project delivery activity and ensure that all projects comply with the IQUW delivery framework as well as IT operational controls (e.g. Service Integration Criteria, Security, Architecture compliance).
- Work as a business partner to key business areas to ensure appropriate change engagement and successful delivery and implementation of change initiatives and work with stakeholders to build a roadmap of future change initiatives required to assist in budget and resource planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure an appropriate definition of project goals, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
- Work with business stakeholders to build a roadmap of potential IT projects required within their respective Enterprise Service functions (HR, Finance, Risk & Compliance etc).
- Create detailed project plans and definitions, including budgets, business cases, resource and benefit realisation plans.
- Ensure projects have valid business cases throughout the project lifecycle and co-ordinate business case updates with stakeholders.
- Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Establish and manage a governance structure appropriate for each project (in line with the change delivery framework).
- Ensure exception reporting is followed throughout agreed governance and the Change Portfolio and Delivery teams are kept updated of any material issues.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects.
- Work with the Head of Product to build a view of potential gaps in Product Management team based on forecast IT demand from Business Stakeholders.
- Work with IT compliance representatives (Arch, Security, Service introduction, Infra) to ensure that retrospective service introduction takes place and the appropriate incident and change management processes are defined and in place with 3rd party suppliers.

Essential Qualifications, skills and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills.
- Able to collaborate with co-workers, peers and managers, sharing critical information with everyone involved in a project.
- Able to co-ordinate the activities of cross-discipline teams, including IT and business staff, where in many cases their project involvement is part time.
- An appropriate level of understanding of IT system development, implementation and operations to support IT implementation projects.
Desirable
- Proven experience of project planning and management, with a formal project management qualification preferable.
- Process improvement/management experience preferable.
- Experience of managing IT implementation projects, preferably combining third party and internal suppliers/staff.
- Experience of financial services/insurance.
- Understanding of basic financial models and P/L; financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Experience of leading and innovating problem analysis and resolution.
- Effective ability in the Microsoft Office suite, including Project.
