Albany Beck are hiring for a Senior Cyber Business Analyst to join the business and work with a leading Investment Bank based in London on a long-term cyber remediation and regulatory mandate programme. The team is focussing on the delivery of a large-scale cyber and regulatory remediation programme, and are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Business Analyst with a broad expertise in cyber security.
The Role
As a Senior Cyber Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a major cyber and regulatory remediation initiative. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure that cyber security risks, particularly those involving third parties, are mitigated in line with regulatory requirements.
You will analyse, document, and refine processes while ensuring that all business needs and compliance requirements are met. This is a high-impact role for someone with a strategic mindset, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is able to navigate the complex intersection of cyber security and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities within the Cyber and Regulatory Remediation Programme, focusing on cyber security requirements and compliance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements related to cyber security, compliance, and third-party risk.
- Analyse current cyber processes and workflows to identify gaps and propose solutions that align with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, risk, and procurement teams to develop and implement strategies for improving cyber resilience, especially concerning third-party vendors.
- Develop clear business requirements documents (BRDs), process maps, data flows, and use cases to support the remediation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) by translating regulatory requirements into actionable business initiatives.
- Support project management teams in the planning, prioritization, and execution of project deliverables.
- Act as a key liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Provide expert advice on cyber risk remediation efforts and regulatory compliance, ensuring the business remains secure and meets regulatory standards.
