Calling all sales candidates with short-shelf-life products and retail experience! Are you seeking a new challenge and want to be part of something huge with a family-owned feel? This is a rare sales opportunity to join a Blue-Chip FMCG business, still privately owned, who have such a fantastic platform for growth, incredible brand & OL offerings, financial backing, innovation and opportunity for wider personal development if that’s something you’re also looking for. They’re flexible, demonstrate they care and have a dynamic way of working. These guys operate within a traditional food category.

They have agreed year long tenders worth +£100m to supply major retailers, this has opened a brand-new Senior NAM for you to lead on one of those accounts, including developing and implementing JBP plans, sales forecasts and identifying short and long-term commercial opportunities through NPD & promotions. With multiple sites across the UK, this role can be fully remote, but you’ll be expected to travel to South Wales weekly. You will play a crucial role in strategy building, client management and driving revenue growth for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to day account management of a high value retailer.
  • Proactive customer engagement through compelling NPD and market trends getting ahead of the market.
  • Cross functional collaboration work.
  • Building the account strategy with support from their Sales Director.

To be considered for the role you need:

  • Short-shelf-life and own-label food product experience is a MUST!
  • High-value retailer experience – Tesco, Aldi, M&S (desirable).
  • Proven track record of growth in retail.
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, high energy to develop the portfolio and progress your career.
  • Commercially savvy.
  • Able to work to high complexity.
