Our client is on the hunt for an experienced and driven JD Edwards (JDE) Application Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of Bulk experience working with the JDE platform and a proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing innovative business applications.
The role also involves developing interfaces between JD Edwards and external systems, as well as creating solutions for mobile platforms across Windows, Android, and iOS operating systems.
Key Skills and Experience
- ERP Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of handsāon experience with ERP implementations and comprehensive knowledge across multiple JD Edwards modules.
- Integration Skills: Strong experience in working with Business Services and Orchestrator.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of JSON/REST services (desirable).
- Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in objectāoriented programming languages such as C# and C.
- Database Skills: Ability to manipulate data in traditional SQL databases like SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle. Experience with IBM i (System i, iSeries, or AS/400) is an advantage.
- JDE Toolset Knowledge: Proficiency in working with the JD Edwards Oracle EnterpriseOne toolset, version Xe or higher.
- Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with UBEās, NERās, C#/.NET, Java, and Windows CE developmentč.
Main Responsibilities
- JDE Enhancements: Develop new features and enhancements for JD Edwards, core systems, and associated platforms.
- Interface Development: Design and maintain interfaces between JDE and other systems, primarily using C# and .NET.
- Mobile Applications: Develop and support mobile applications for Android devices using Java, particularly for warehousing and operational purposes.
- Database Management: Work with SQL Server and DB2 databases to manipulate and manage data effectively.
- Service Development: Create and maintain JSON/REST services and Windows services to support system functionality.
- JDE Integration: Provide expertise in integrating JD Edwards with thirdāparty software.
- Documentation and Support: Produce technical documentation for all development Nieman work and provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for core development and software issues.
- ServerāSide Programming: Engage in serverāside programming on IBM i (AS/400) systems to ensure seamless backend functionality.
