Location: Various locations throughout East Riding of Yorkshire: Beverley, Bridlington, Goole, Howden, Holderness, Wolds and Haltemprice

Salary: Starting from £12.21 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary, various hours, this includes working on short domiciliary calls (All calls are between the hours of 7am to 11pm)

Role Overview: As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your role will include personal care, assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and support with medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help clients manage their medication and attend appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources, activities, and social events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a role within health and social care sector (at least 6 months within the UK).
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to undergo further training to support the needs of our clients.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of clients.
