The role consists of shift work and weekends on a rota basis. Overview Of The Role
Whether you are new to the industry or have come from a social care background, we welcome your application. We will train and mentor you to become a highly skilled professional. We offer all our in-house training free of charge and set a career path for you from day one. All Social Care Workers at this service must already have or commit to undertaking a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification.
Key duties
- Assisting those we care for with their personal care needs
- Medication administration
- Assisting and getting involved in daily activities, hobbies or outings
- Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
- Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with those we care for
- Maintaining written and electronic daily records
- Attending and completing training, as required

Where will you work?
This is one of three residential homes provided by Quality Care, our sister company in the East Midlands that supports individuals with high support needs including challenging behaviours. Quality Care is an established specialist care provider with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality support in family-style settings. Adams House provides residential 24 hour care for 24 adults with a learning disability and/or autism. Although the service is quite large, the people being supported here live in small family groups or in their own individualised apartment settings, according to their needs and abilities. Adams House is located in the market town of Sutton in Ashfield, close to all the local amenities of the town centre and also has good links to the A38 and M1.
