You will also drive impact by applying your strategic and technical mindset. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain deep commercial relationships with core technology suppliers. Lead commercial discussions and be the main contact for issues. Manage sourcing strategies for MPU, MCU, and ASIC categories within the Semiconductor Strategic Sourcing Team. Gain insight and experience with the full SoC value chain, especially IP block integration within ASIC or custom silicon design. Own RFx processes, negotiate with suppliers, and review product development inputs including Statements of Work and Supplier Agreements. Stay updated on industry trends, costs, metrics, roadmaps, IPs, methodologies, and tools. Coordinate with stakeholders on IPs, methodologies, vendor selection, and conflict resolution. Serve as a central contact and advisor on process development for internal and external partners. Develop and execute global or regional category plans, build market insights, and consider regional requirements. Engage stakeholders, facilitate alignment, and translate future needs into sourcing priorities. Coordinate project activities across global sites, ensuring schedule adherence. Optimize quality, yield, and time management of production processes. Lead and influence stakeholders, finance, and suppliers; drive cost-saving initiatives. Manage global/regional suppliers, including contracting, negotiations, and performance management. Team Success LEGO has been enhancing its play experience with technology elements such as semiconductors, SoCs, ecosystems, software, and system engineering. The role involves developing direct relationships with strategic suppliers, focusing on semiconductors and IP integration into ASIC designs. It is located in London, Billund, or Singapore, and is part of the Parts External Manufacturing organization under Procurement. The role involves developing procurement strategies for semiconductors and SoC integrated circuits, managing contracts, and supporting supplier relations. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has a technical background in electronics engineering and experience in ASIC or custom silicon design. They should have experience with SoC/Module projects, process milestones, and working with partners on cost, process technologies, NPI, and yield optimization. Strong commercial leadership, interpersonal skills, and multicultural experience are essential. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required. Proven semiconductor experience, negotiation skills, and ability to define technical and logistical requirements are also necessary.
