We’re currently supporting one of our key clients in the search for a Condition Monitoring Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that delivers high-impact reliability solutions across a wide range of industrial sectors. In this role, you’ll apply predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies to help improve plant performance and equipment reliability.
You will be using advanced diagnostic techniques, including vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography, and oil sampling, to proactively identify issues before they escalate.
Role Overview- Delivering on-site Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) services
- Collecting and analysing asset data to identify trends and root causes of failure
- Supporting laser alignment, balancing, and deflection shape studies (training provided)
- Recommending asset improvements based on machine condition and performance
- Supporting the installation and setup of CBM systems (handheld, online, and wireless)
- Assisting in factory acceptance testing (FAT) when required
- Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for service improvement
- A background in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Level 1 & 2 Vibration Analysis certification (or working toward)
- Strong analytical and fault diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and report writing capabilities
- A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and unrestricted ability to work internationally
- Experience with CBM tools from providers such as Emerson, SKF, Pruftechnic, etc.
- Familiarity with sectors such as marine, rail, nuclear, manufacturing, or process industries
- Level 1 Thermal Imaging certification
