This position is pivotal in guaranteeing the successful execution of projects, products, and services by coordinating teams, overseeing timelines, eliminating barriers, and aligning with Defence Digital objectives. Emphasising the facilitation of collaboration, monitoring progress, and upholding quality standards during delivery will be paramount. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery of complex products and services, contributing to larger programmes and portfolios. In Defence Digital, these programmes may encompass various intricate work-streams that require careful management to achieve overall objectives. You will be responsible for managing risks, budgets, and personnel, and ensuring that governance frameworks are in place to meet both the programme's and Defence Digital’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage or influence programme spending, contributing to budgets, forecasts, actual expenditures, and business cases.
  • Understand, manage, and communicate with complex stakeholder groups throughout the programme life cycle, balancing their priorities.
  • Serve as the escalation point for the programme as well as supporting and coaching delivery managers, and programme team members.
  • Leadership and accountability for the performance of your team, ensuring the team is motivated and working well.
  • Balance objectives and reallocate people and resources as priorities shift.
