We are currently looking for an experienced labourer and/ or Construction worker (valid CSCS card is beneficial) to work with a variety of established clients of ours based across the BN postcode. It is for an immediate starts and potentially ongoing temp work. Various responsibilities may include: * Material handling: Transport materials, load and unload materials, and mix key materials * Clean-up: Clean and tidy the site * Support skilled tradespeople: Assist skilled tradespeople like electricians, plumbers, and bricklayers * Operate tools and equipment: Use equipment like cement mixers, drills, and pumps * Digging trenches and building foundations * To unload goods from the vehicles so that product quality is maintained throughout the unload process, efficiency is maximised, and the Company’s Values are demonstrated and upheld. * To check the quality of all product from vehicles and report damages and missing items to Team Leader promptly, so that remedial action can be taken swiftly, and the Company is aware of the product quality on arrival at site. * To ensure safe and damage-free unload and distribution of goods to plot, ensuring health and safety compliance for PPE, manual handling and site regulations. * To ensure that site inductions are always understood and competed prior to commencing unload. * To ensure all product is wrapped appropriately and provide photographic evidence of completion. * To gather photographic evidence of goods being delivered complete and undamaged in plot, so that any subsequent damage or loss can be attributed. * To ensure access to site / plot is clear of obstruction and safe prior to commencing unload, reporting any potential safety issues to the Site Unload Supervisor. * To represent the business in a courteous and professional manner so that customers will consider the Company a service-partner of choice and engage in repeat business Essential: * Flexibility on working hours. * Good spoken English. * Able to lift and handball heavy items and loads * Excellent communication skills. * Full Valid UK Driving licence (to get to site). * Be able to undertake manual-handling work. * previous labourer or construction experience * Safety boots, gloves and hi-vis Desirable: * Experience of product quality checks. * Understanding of Health and Safety at work regulations. * CSCS card is beneficial Please click apply now for more info
