Our West Kent Therapy Services are looking for motivated Occupational Therapists to work as part of our multidisciplinary services.
The West Kent Occupational Therapy Rotation Scheme Will Offer The Opportunity To Complete Six Months Rotations, Gaining Experience Across a Range Of Community Teams Including
- Community Hospitals
- Community Rehabilitation
- Neurorehabilitation
- Falls Prevention
- Urgent Therapy Service
You will gain experience across in-patient, clinic, group and domiciliary settings, and be able to build a wide portfolio of OT experience and skills working alongside our specialist teams.
These roles will suit those who are newly graduating, returning to practice or looking to move to a community role for a new challenge. We have a robust preceptorship programme for the first year in post.
Applicants will be required to have a full driving license and car, as being able to travel around the locality independently is essential to role
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with supervision from senior occupational therapists
- To be professionally and legally accountable for a designated clinical caseload
- To ensure comprehensive accurate electronic records are maintained for all patient interactions
- To contribute to the wider MDT
