About the Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of highways inspections, enforcement, and maintenance across a designated area, ensuring that public infrastructure is safe, compliant, and in top condition. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the inspection, maintenance, and improvement of highway infrastructure in your area.
  • Carry out routine safety inspections, license checks, and respond to utilities queries.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, businesses, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct utility inspections under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
  • Enforce standards under the Highways Act 1980 and Environmental Protection Act 1990.
  • Issue notices for improperly parked vehicles and ensure swift resolution of public concerns.
  • Ensure all enquiries are acknowledged and addressed promptly.
