Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing distribution business on the appointment of a Transport & Fleet Manager. Our client is currently in the process of relocating operations to their NI site, giving the successful applicant the chance to work with autonomy in creating structure in a growing transport department and fleet. As the Transport& Fleet Manager you will have full responsibility for the development and maintenance of excellent service levels to enhance continuous improvement across numerous sister companies, with a primary focus on the NI site. Employee Assistance Programme In your new role: Manage and resolve Transport, POD query resolution for site fast and efficiently. Responsible for the growth and maintenance of company fleet. Oversee the effective usage of the company TMS Oversee relationships with 3rd party providers Liaise with other group business units on the development of SLAs Amend and improve the existing transport infrastructure and processes Ensure that your team are adhering to company policies and regulations. To set strategic objectives to create motivation and job satisfaction for all staff reporting direct to the post holder. What you will need to succeed: CPC qualification (advantageous) Experience managing a team of drivers Strong fleet management experience Experience in or knowledge of Transport Modelling Systems Strong management capability with a confident and positive approach to challenges.
