Position: Mechanical Draughtsperson
Location: Castle Donnington – 3 Days on site per week
Type: Full-Time
The Role
This is a contract role expected to last between 6 – 12 months with the successful candidate working to troubleshoot and refine an existing complex drawing library using NX. This will involve checking and correcting GD&T data, team centre structure and validity of BOM information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and efficient models.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation.
Qualifications:
- HNC or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in NX software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- High level of accuracy in drawings and documentation.
- Ability to spot and correct errors in technical plans.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as a self-starter.
