Founded in 2016, my client is an independent, London-based Private Investment Office managing over £3bn in assets for families and institutions. The firm provides highly customised advice, helping clients diversify their portfolios across Credit, Equities, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, and uncorrelated strategies. Leveraging a strong network of shareholders and clients, the firm benefits from access to many top-performing (and often hard-closed) managers across these asset classes.

The Investment Associate will support the CIO and broader investment team across a range of functions, including:

  • Conducting due diligence on new external managers and updating research on existing managers across asset classes (Credit, Equity, Absolute Return, Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital)
  • Assisting with macroeconomic research to inform portfolio construction and rebalancing decisions
  • Supporting client portfolio management by monitoring performance and ensuring portfolios remain within investment guidelines
  • Preparing materials for client meetings, including quarterly performance reports
  • Providing operational support as needed (e.g. statement reconciliation, performance verification)
  • Supporting client service efforts and helping portfolio managers strengthen client relationships

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong academic background, including a degree from a reputable institution
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a (multi-)family office, endowment fund, asset manager, or strategy consultancy with a financial services focus
  • Minimum A-level qualification in Mathematics or a quantitative degree
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and investing
  • Progress towards, or interest in pursuing, professional qualifications such as the IMC, CFA, or CAIA

Feel free to apply should the role be of interest.
