The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team both locally and countywide. They will provide technical support to all aspects of Neighbourhood Services with an initial focus on commercial waste services, skip operations and supporting the implementation of the Simpler Recycling legislation and associated operational changes.
Day to day activities will include:
- Providing valuable support to operational crews for service delivery of commercial waste services
- Dealing with customer requests and enquiries and investigating complaints
- Site assessments
- Monitoring and maintaining data
- System maintenance; monitoring progress of various projects; etc.
The post will be based at Stakeford depot and will be working within an operational team of approximately 100 staff providing the following services:
- Waste Collections:
- Household waste
- Garden waste
- Trade waste
- Food waste
- Glass bring sites
- Bulky waste
- Grounds maintenance
- Street cleansing
- Mechanical street sweeping
- Parks maintenance
- Cemetery services
We are looking for a forward thinking, positive and motivated individual who can implement new projects and systems in an ever-demanding service.
Requirements of the Job:
- Experience within Waste Services is preferred, with any knowledge of commercial waste services a benefit.
- Effective ICT skills.
- Driving License essential.
