The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The video team forms an integral part of the Global Brand team at ELEMIS. Working closely with the social and brand marketing teams, you will help to develop video briefs by offering creative input, technical solutions and general video knowledge, as well as creating and editing a wide range of video content for the brand.
You should always be thinking about how videos will gain impactful results and how they will contribute to the overall video strategy objectives. You must have a good technical video knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations and an acute understanding of marketing channels and their creative nuances and the difference between the needs within the marketing funnel i.e. conversion, consideration and awareness.
The role requires a focused, hardworking and positive individual. You must be able to remain calm and professional in pressured and ambiguous situations while maintaining a proactive attitude. You will report to the Global Comms Director.
What Will You Do?
- Film, capture and edit videos within deadline and to the highest standard.
- Work closely with teams across the business to help plan video shoots to varying timelines and deadlines.
- Help to define a visual language for the business, across channels, both physical and digital in collaboration with other creative functions.
- Offer technical advice, guidance, references and storyboarding where needed.
- Build a rich and diverse reference board of creative ideas which align with the brand identity attributed to key marketing channels.
- Build a social-first video mindset internally, helping educate the wider business on benefits.
- Strive to develop and enhance the quality of video output.
- A confident and competent self-shooter on a variety of cameras as well as iPhone.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Previous experience working at a similar level.
- Previous skincare, beauty, fashion or entertainment experience desirable but not essential.
- Exceptionally proficient with Premiere Pro and ideally After Effects.
- Able to shoot and edit on camera as well as iPhone.
- CGI/AI knowledge nice to have but not essential.
- Ability to use mobile devices and retain high level of capture.
- Clear understanding of social-first content and how to adapt it for different platforms.
- High level knowledge of hardware and software, understanding of lighting needs, production and post-production processes and understanding of grade.
- A good technical knowledge of video equipment, theory and workflow.
