We’re looking for a Junior PowerApp Developer to join a forward-thinking tech client of ours based in Chelmsford. The firm focuses on delivering custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of PowerApps and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. There will be an expectation to have a regular presence in the office.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in designing, building, and deploying PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
  • Support integration with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and Microsoft 365
  • Help automate workflows using Power Automate
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Power Platform solutions
  • Document app designs, configurations, and user guides

Basic understanding of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate). Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Excel). Comfort with formulas/functions (like Excel expressions). Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Good communication and a willingness to learn. Exposure to Dataverse, Power BI, or Power Virtual Agents (not essential). Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or SQL (not essential). PL-900 or similar Microsoft certification (not essential).

Permanent contract. Paying in the region of £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
