We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated Biologist to join an innovative Biotechnology company based in London. As the Biologist, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the discovery pipeline, by contributing cell biology expertise to the experimental biology group.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the development and implementation of their next generation in vitro T-cell receptor (TCR) discovery platform.
- You will use cutting edge technologies including next generation sequencing, automation and high throughput display techniques, to encompass all aspects of TCR discovery and optimisation.
- You will work as a Biologist in part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with data scientists and product engineers.
Role Requirements
- PhD in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or other related biochemical discipline, or BSc/MSc with equivalent lab-based experience.
- Proven industry experience working with TCRs or designing antibody/TCR-based libraries and applying these experimentally, and managing research projects within an industrial setting.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with biochemical and cell-based characterisation methods, including in vitro biochemical assays (ELISA, SPR, or Flow Cytometry) and functional assays (e.g. T-cell based functional assays).
