We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR and Operations Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract) to support our dynamic consulting business in various HR, administrative and operational tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of finance, operations and HR functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Responsibilities: Operational Support Internal Meetings & Events : Booking of event space, travel and accommodation; managing diary invites, updating of agenda and logistics. New Hire Onboarding, Equipment and Access: Welcome new colleagues to the company byensuring smooth onboarding and timely ordering and delivery of laptops and other equipment for new hires. Plan for system and user license requirements for each new joiner. Companywide Communications: Providing timeline and accurate updates to the Futureform community on upcoming events, deadlines and other relevant information. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments and collections. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability. Financial Reporting & VAT: Work with our accountant in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and VAT returns. Payroll & Expenses: Manage outsourced payroll provider. Maintain up to date and accurate employee & payroll records. Ensure expenses are submitted in line with policy and client chargebacks are allocated. HR Management Contractors: Updating and maintaining accurate contracts for our temporary contractors. Liaising with the Head of Delivery to ensure contract duration matches business needs. Employee Recognition : Managing recognition of employee birthdays, service anniversaries and other ad hoc acknowledgements. Administration: HR administration, maintaining employee records, document generation and distribution, general maintenance of HR related topics on the Wiki. Employee Relations: handle disciplinary issues, and grievances. Promote a positive working environment and company culture. Holiday Requests: Manage and track holiday requests and balances throughout the year. Liaise with leadership to ensure proper coverage for seamless business operations. Qualifications Experience : 2+ years in a HR role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment. Technical Skills : Proficiency in financial software (e.g.Xero, DEXT), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project management tools (Jira, Confluence). Familiarity with Salesforce preferred. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A responsive approach to problem solving, addressing employee inquiries and issues promptly, keeping them informed throughout the resolution process.
