Copyright Assistant – 3 Month FTC (Immediate Start)

We’re working with a global production music company renowned for providing high-quality music to broadcasters, content creators, and production houses worldwide. With a diverse and expansive catalogue, their music is heard across major networks, advertising campaigns, streaming platforms and digital content globally.

They are now looking for a detail-oriented Copyright Assistant to join their rights and metadata team on a short-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the registration of works across global PROs
• Create and maintain accurate metadata using CWR (Common Works Registration) standards
• Support the rights team with ownership splits, cue sheets, and catalogue updates
• Ensure data consistency across internal systems and external platforms
• Liaise with sub-publishers and composers regarding registration queries

Requirements:

• Proven experience with CWR and knowledge of music publishing workflows
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Familiarity with PROs (e.g. PRS, ASCAP, BMI) and copyright registration processes
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with rights management systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
