Foray Motor Group is the South West's award-winning Ford-only dealer group, with dealerships and service centres in Salisbury, Poole, Yeovil, Taunton, Andover, Shaftesbury, Bridgewater, Dorchester, and Southampton. The group employs approximately 400 people across various roles and offers excellent opportunities for motivated, dedicated, and talented individuals.

We are seeking a passionate individual with a keen eye for detail to join our friendly workshop team at Edwards Ford, Salisbury. Successful candidates will receive manufacturer (Ford) and in-house training, with clear development pathways through Ford's state-of-the-art training hub.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in the automotive or engineering sector
  • Previous experience in a vehicle workshop
  • An MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and service checks
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Producing vehicle health reports using electronic systems, following manufacturer guidelines
  • Communicating technical issues to customers via video and face-to-face interactions

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 OTE
