About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Capex & Fleet Accounting Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is a critical role responsible for managing capital expenditure (capex) processes across the Group, with a strong focus on fleet accounting. You’ll ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, uphold robust internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within capex and fleet accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end capex processes for the Group.
- Oversee fleet accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all capex and fleet-related financial transactions.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and finance.
- Provide insightful reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and systems.
- Support the annual budget, forecasting, and strategic planning processes related to capex and fleet.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- IFRS16 knowledge.
- Strong experience in capital expenditure and/or fixed asset accounting.
- Experience in fleet accounting is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and lead change.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
