Mixed Tax Manager

This chartered firm of accountants has developed a verystrong reputation across Kent, the South and nationally, acting for some veryinterestingand growing businesses within the entrepreneurial andtechnology sectors. This is a really exciting position where you will getexperience across all areas of corporate tax including specialist areas such asEIS, EMI and R&D, but will also have the opportunity to be involved inrestructuring and corporate finance tax work too. In addition to the corporate work, there is an opportunityto oversee a personal tax portfolio too, but the position can be built aroundthe candidates\’ experience and aspirations. A large proportion of the position can be moulded around theright candidate but your primary responsibilities will be to: Assisting with tax advisory work including EISand share schemes Helping with Mergers, acquisitions,reorganisations and tax due diligence Preparation of R&D tax relief claims Preparing corporation tax computations andreturns for larger, more complex companies/groups Overseeing and reviewingthe more basiccorporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met Supervision of more junior members of staff Opportunity to also oversee a personal taxportfolio encompassing compliance and IHT planning. Our client is considering part-time, and full-timeapplicants Requirements You will be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified byexperience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed taxbackground. You will have advisory/planning tax experience, gained within anaccounting firm, or tax boutique firm of any size.
