Technique Recruitment Solutions are working alongside a global machinery and product manufacturer who have a new opportunity for a Pre Press Operator to join their team. Previous experience in a Flexographic print environment and a counter balance forklift license are essential for this role. As well as a competitive salary, the role offers an excellent benefits package.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all site Health and Safety and BRC rules and regulations are adhered to.
- Organising working day so that the presses are kept supplied with tooling to match schedule.
- Mixing ink to match Pantone requirements.
- Managing ink stock, booking ink in and out of stock.
- Printing carton labels and core labels for works orders.
- Working accurately with good attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Operate ERP system (Oracle E1) to provide work-to lists for picking, packing and stocking.
- Accurately follow information on pick slips using DSI barcoding to ensure customers receive correct labels.
- Playing an active role in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Having a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new skills to succeed.
- Working in a team environment.
