We\’re looking for someone who is passionate about social media, skilled in creating engaging content, and eager to make a difference to manage content and engagement through our channels Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. What difference will you make? We\’re a small grass roots organisation where every person counts. We have a big vision – to put the people most impacted by climate change at the centre of the discussion and to break down the barriers for carbon neutral travel. We act on a world stage by showing up with activists to The United Nations Climate Change Conferences on sailing boats to prove that we have the technology, all we need is the will. You will play a key part in platforming the voices of under-represented activists from at-risk communities, promoting boats join our flotilla, getting the word out to activists to join us, raising awareness amongst the global public about the climate conversation as well as attracting high level supporters from a range of disciplines. This is our first year and our first flotilla and you will be laying important groundwork that sets the bar on how we\’re seen on the world stage. What are we looking for? Ideal Traits and Skills Proven experience managing social media accounts Strong writing and visual content creation skills Understanding of audience engagement tactics and social media algorithms Experience using scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) A good eye for design (Canva or similar tools a plus) Organised, reliable, and proactive Creative, enthusiastic, and able to work independently Passionate about making a positive impact What will you be doing?
