About Division: The Brands & Licensing division extends BBC Studios’ IP through innovative brand extensions, engaging fans worldwide across consumer products, live entertainment, gaming, and publishing. Our Digital Brands division creates social-first content, reaching over 350 million people globally, and offers advertising and branded content opportunities.

The Role: The Head of Digital, Network will lead a new team to develop a BBC Studio social video network leveraging BBCS IP and Archive. The role involves scaling digital video content, enhancing discovery and relevancy, and managing a team of 10+ staff, reporting to the Group Digital Director, and collaborating with the Fandom team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and volume management: Drive content volume plans, monitor performance, and optimize strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Leadership and team development: Manage and mentor the team, fostering a culture of excellence and agility.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work with Planning, Operations, Archive, and Compliance teams to align content strategies and workflows.
  • Operational excellence: Set KPIs, leverage data for decision-making, and ensure workflow adherence.
  • Platform and industry expertise: Keep abreast of platform changes and industry trends to evolve content strategies.
