About our Oxfam Shops: Open since 1948, Oxfam shops are at the heart of the charity and their community, raising vital funds and increasing public awareness of our work. They are guided by our values of empowerment, accountability, and inclusiveness, and focus on making as much money as possible.

The Role of our Shop Managers: Shop managers are commercially aware, constantly seeking new business opportunities, motivating their teams, and creating a safe and energised work environment. They hold high standards, a strong drive to achieve results, and are accountable for their shop's performance. The role is empowered, varied, and busy, offering the opportunity to work with some amazing people. Shop managers are pivotal for our business success and can make a real difference. Oxfam operates a volunteer operating model, where volunteers are empowered to handle most tasks within the shop, including running the shop in the manager’s absence. Often the only paid staff member, our managers are comfortable in this environment, enjoy working with others, and excel at delegating tasks. They are excellent communicators, creative, and always look for opportunities to attract new supporters daily.

Please note: This role is for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
