What you’ll be doing:
- Working within an exciting and fast-paced environment as a key member of our warehouse team to ensure exceptional service quality.
- Deliver line/area productivity and efficiency targets, resolving problems as they arise, and producing ingredients or goods in line with the agreed production plan.
- Continuously monitor raw materials/ingredients, operational processes, and the overall production environment to ensure compliance with food safety manufacturing standards.
- Monitor the effectiveness of machinery and equipment, highlighting trends and issues to ensure reliable asset performance.
- Promote a good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department that complies with procedures and corrective actions.
- First line maintenance and basic Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Strip downs and rebuild of manufacturing equipment.
- Provide training to operational staff.
- Assist engineers with breakdowns.
- Basic fault finding and prevention of breakdowns.
What we’re looking for:
- Good level of English & Maths.
- Mechanically literate.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Right first-time approach.
