This is a key role within the Change Governance and Method team, which is at the heart of the Bank’s plans to transform. This role has wide-reaching engagement with colleagues from across the organisation, supporting our key decision-making processes and providing an opportunity to help shape how we deliver change safely and efficiently, whilst driving value for Handelsbanken Plc.
Working day-to-day with other members of the Change Governance and Method team, colleagues from Change Portfolio, and the delivery teams, the role holder will be an adaptable and confident Change professional, with demonstrable expertise in Agile methodologies. They are a self-starter with strong analysis, process development and execution skills, adept at driving change through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Management of internal governance processes, providing training and guidance on the process, managing meeting inputs and outputs, collating information, meeting packs and reports.
- Work with colleagues across the Bank to analyse and improve processes in the end-to-end Change Process, creating efficiency whilst also ensuring proper controls are in place to minimise change risk.
- Support the continuous development of the Change Governance and Method team with management of action plans, status reports and other such artefacts.
- Provide support with regular Change Governance meetings including minute-taking and preparation of meeting packs, as required.
- Create visually compelling and engaging reports and presentations, in alignment with target audience’s needs and expectations.
- Work closely with delivery teams and other key stakeholders in the Change community to successfully embed change governance processes, including the development of training and internal communications materials.
- Work closely with the Change Portfolio team to ensure project governance records are kept up to date and accurate, and assist with any remediation required to comply with the Bank’s mandated frameworks.
- Operate in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
Ideal Candidate:
- Professional competence and relevant experience in Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (PMO/PPM/P3MO).
- Strong knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, articulate and present complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Previous experience working within an Agile development team.
- Agile qualification desirable.
- Integrity and discretion.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
- Problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset, identifying issues and driving resolutions to conclusion with minimal management support.
