We support organisations across a variety of sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, government and insurance.
We’re looking for an IT Service Continuity Manager to join our growing team. As part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance team and reporting into the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance, the role holder is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of the IT Service Continuity framework for TU-UK. The role is key in driving forward the disaster recovery/resilience posture and enables the executive to make informed investment decisions to improve the disaster recovery/resilience posture.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Maintain and mature the Disaster Recovery (DR) posture view which is accepted by the executive.
- Assure DR/operational resilience compliance with TU policy and regulatory requirements (FCA, ICO).
- Design, implement and ongoing management of the IT Service Continuity framework.
- Maintain, mature and report controls to assure product/internal service adherence with DR/operational resilience policy and framework non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain an annual disaster recovery/resilience exercise and test schedule.
- Plan and coordinate disaster recovery/resilience exercises and tests, report outcome and assure issues are tracked to resolution.
- Ensure IT Operations Business Continuity deliverables are completed within the deadlines.
- Collaborate and provide technology resilience thought leadership in partnership with the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager and global peers to drive improvements and efficiencies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Educated to degree level or otherwise suitable experience.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and driving governance led cultural change at all levels.
- Effective matrix management from executives to associates with demonstrable deliverables.
- Experience of enterprise IT and cloud technologies.
- Experience of IT/Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management within large organisations, supporting business areas in performing risk and impact assessments.
- Understanding of resilience across business operations, cyber/technology and 3rd-party/supplier disciplines – ideally within the Financial Services industry.
