Position details and responsibilities:
- Deliver ISO 26262:2018 work products as specified within the Functional Safety Plan for Vehicle Motion, including Chassis and Powertrain.
- Maintain all ISO 26262:2018 Work Products for assigned Items, including Item Definition, HARAs, Functional Safety Concepts, and Requirements.
- Develop and execute Integration, Verification, and Validation test specifications and relevant documents.
- Develop all planned ISO 26262:2018 work products up to and including the Safety Case.
- Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and partners as needed.
- Coordinate multi-party activities to ensure synchronized delivery and testing per the Development Interface Agreement.
- Implement mitigation strategies for issues and build a network of experts for problem-solving.
Nice to Have:
- Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in functional safety within chassis and/or electrical powertrain domains.
- Experience creating ISO 26262:2018 Parts 3 and 4 work products.
- Experience in Integration, Verification of FSRs, and Safety Goal Validation.
- Experience managing suppliers according to a Development Interface Agreement.
- Articulate, self-motivated, approachable, and eager to learn.
- Pro-active problem-solving attitude.
