Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled Assistant General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. The Highbury Barn Tavern is located just off Highbury fields in beautiful Highbury Barn.
The Role
As Deputy General Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business. Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial acumen. Your team will look up to you; it’s essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction. You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
What we are looking for:

- Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager depending on the property being looked at

- Strong all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction

- Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun
