Overview
Consultant – Accounting Advisory role at CFGI. Our consultants work as part of a team with other CFGI professionals, Big 4 auditors, and client management on all facets of engagements, including analyzing financial information, interviewing client management, identifying key issues, report writing, participating in meetings, and developing a strong relationship with client management.

- Engage in operational due diligence for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, IPOs).
- Work on accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries.
- Integrate with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert for operational senior accounting tasks or overall financial team support.
- Prepare financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Research and document projects related to new accounting standards, process improvement, and implementations.
- Participate in process improvement projects and implementation of changes.
What you might expect
- Preparation of operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e., acquisitions and divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, IPOs).
- Accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries.
- Assist with integration with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert for accounting tasks and financial team support.
- Ensure regulatory information is prepared in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Research and document projects related to new accounting standards and process improvements.
Who you are
- An undergraduate degree – ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree in Accounting.
- Two to five years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting and/or finance.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to assimilate easily into teams.
- Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Entrepreneurial nature, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable.
- High energy with commitment to quality client service.
