My client, a strategic, independent PR agency is looking for a confident and commercially-minded PR Account Manager to join their growing team. About the Role
You’ll be the day-to-day lead on a range of high-growth accounts – from AI and SaaS to data and digital transformation. The PR agency’s approach is smart, direct and commercially focused, so you’ll be working with clients who value PR that drives business outcomes. You’ll need to be comfortable managing campaigns from start to finish, building strong media relationships, and writing across a range of formats – from press releases and thought leadership to LinkedIn content and blogs.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, is proactive in client service, and is motivated by the opportunity to play a key role in a small but highly effective team.
Key Responsibilities as a PR Account Manager
- Lead day-to-day client communications and account delivery
- Develop and execute strategic media campaigns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists
- Draft high-quality content across multiple formats and channels
- Coordinate and support new business proposals and pitches
- Mentor junior team members where required
- Report on results and demonstrate impact
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2/3 years PR/Public relations experience (inhouse or agency)
- Strong understanding of the PR media landscape, with solid journalist contacts
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
- Excellent writing and editing abilities
- A commercial mindset with a clear focus on outcomes
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and highly organised
- Comfortable working remotely with a proactive approach
