We are looking for two Food & Beverage Co-ordinators (Front of House) to join our teams based at Thinktank and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (plus other BMT sites when required). You will oversee the daily operations of the Signal Box Cafe at Thinktank or the beautiful Edwardian Tea Rooms at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, with the support of the F&B Manager. You will ensure all due diligence practices and procedures are met continually as well as work closely with the F&B Co-ordinator (Kitchen / Chef) ensuring the cafe and ETR are successful and run like clockwork.

As the co-ordinator for the Front of House, you will oversee a small team of F&B Assistants to ensure that the very best customer service is provided at all times. You should be friendly and keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever tasks you are set, no matter what the day holds.

To succeed in either of these roles we are looking for the following:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Previous experience within a similar environment
  • Ideally someone who has managed a small team previously
  • Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen training preferable - however full training will be given
  • Have a great eye for detail and be an excellent organised individual

Please note the site named is likely to be your most regular place of work; however, you may be required to work at other BMT sites from time to time as the business requires. These are permanent roles working Wednesday to Sunday.
