Applications are invited for a full-time Project Manager to join a fast-growing, enthusiastic team at a University of Cambridge spin-out company, developing unfolding space telescopes for thermal imaging Earth Observation applications. The successful candidate will be a project manager with in-depth knowledge of time/resource management, risk management, managing the production of the required deliverables, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates with a technical background who have completed project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities will include:
• Manage an enthusiastic and technical team in a fast-paced SME company
• Time and resource management for space projects developed with multiple partners
• Assist with procurement
• Assist with payments for project milestones
• Monitor and update project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Report the project\’s status in weekly meetings to SuperSharp\’s management team
• Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals for future funding opportunities
